Residente en Brooklyn, Rafa Álvarez es un ilustrador español que ha sido premiado con el American Illustration y el International Motion Arts and Paula Rhodes memorial for Exceptional Achievement in Illustration (MFA-School of Visual Arts) y esta nominado para el 2013 Young Illustrator Award (Berlin). Ha expuesto y publicado novelas gráficas, libros infantiles y cómics en EE.UU., España, Alemania y Corea. Actualmente está desarrollando ebooks interactivos para iPad.
